Leading Subcontractor Candidates

Ohio Airships already has existing relationships with several qualified subcontractors through Ohio Airships.

Agilecast, Inc. – Agilecast is Ohio Airships' leading choice to manage the entire Dynalifter production effort.  Agilecast has successfully managed many US Military technology projects on behalf of the Boeing Corporation, and has close ties with many aerospace, manufacturing, and business contacts.

Conceptual Research Corporation – CRC, lead by Dr. Daniel Raymer (formerly Lockheed Martin’s Director of Advanced Design), has directed all Dynalifter technical development since Ohio Airships’ conception.  His firm has created a solid Dynalifter engineering foundation, allowing future engineering subcontractors to seamlessly continue development.  CRC is the leading candidate for creation of the Master Design.

Composite Engineering, Inc. – Under direction of Conceptual Research Corporation, Composite Engineering supplied the first production cost estimation for Dynalifter Freighters.  The final decision has not yet been made on whether to construct the internal structure with inexpensive aluminum, or extremely lightweight composites.  If composites are chosen, CEI would be a leading candidate for structural fabrication.

Worldwide Aeros Corporation Aeros is the world’s leading producer of airships, and has shown an interest in Dynalifter hull fabrication.  Ohio Airships’ relationship with Aeros formed during the DARPA Walrus competition.

ILC Dover ILC Dover is the world’s leading producer of fabric helium cells.  This company has been associated with most modern airship programs.  ILC Dover would be a natural choice for production of Dynalifter internal cells and hull fabric.

Boeing Corporation Using Agilecast’s connections, Ohio Airships met with Boeing executives in January ’07 to discuss the possibility of doing business with them.  Boeing showed immediate interest in becoming the lead Integration Unit subcontractor, and they showed interest “in principal” for complete Dynalifter production, pending further sales development.
