Since the Wright Brothers first invented
powered flight, man has sought to produce a personal aircraft with mass
appeal. In 102 years, no one has been able to produce an aircraft that
simultaneously has all of the following features: short takeoff and
landing, affordable, accident forgiving, easy to operate, and reliable
(S.A.F.E.R.). DynalifterŽ RVs could be ideal for this mission; to appeal
to non-pilots as well as pilots. NASA currently spends millions of dollars
searching for such a vehicle and is concurrently developing SATS (Small
Aircraft Transportation System), an air traffic control system designed to
make small aircraft navigation, takeoff, and landing dramatically easier
and more failsafe. DynalifterŽ RVs + SATS could finally make personal
aircraft as numerable as automobiles.
